NW Design & Optimization Engineer, Radio WCDMA / GSM-EDGE

•Provide consultancy and clarification about the technical solution to the customer

•Responsible for conducting technical discussion and presentation of the product and solution details to the customer

•Providing support to sales acquisition in offers, tenders and change requests

•Communicating, finding and presenting the best solution for all Technical requirements to customer’s problem related radio network design

•Preparing technical specification documents

•Providing integration solutions of various network part (Radio, Core, Access, IP, Transport, etc) and creating End to End Solutions to the customers

•Responsible to deliver Radio Network Design and network performance for 2G/3G including nominal Cell Plan, frequency plan and capacity planning, Dimensioning, Scrambling code plan and expansion capacity  for short term and long term.

•Responsible for the evaluation and design of new, advanced 2G/3G Radio technologies.

•Has the overall radio network optimization responsibility of the customers GSM/UMTS radio network. This includes frequent network performance and configuration audits, parameter optimization, analyzing and managing drive tests and perform optimization based on the results, manage KPIs. Also responsible to implement and validate proposed actions resulting from Radio Network KPI Management

•Perform routine network performance monitoring and review of radio network Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as drop call, TCH Blocking, Handovers, and call setup success rate

•Do database parameter settings analysis and creatively apply engineering  principles to make appropriate database parameter changes/tuning, and even new feature implementation to maximize the network performance and quality in order to meet customer objectives and targets.

•Having minimum 6 years experience in Telecommunications engineering, Design 2G/3G RF and performance

•Able to translate customer or strategic business requirements into final detailed technical design.

•Thorough knowledge of engineering best practices, capacity management, performance management, and network operations

•Solid understanding of  Network Optimization and Network Performance principles

•Technical proficiency with wireless network infrastructure, knowledge of RF propagation, RF design fundamentals, antenna theory, and performance engineering systems  and Model Tunning

•Solid understanding of cellular technology, TDMA, GSM, GPRS/EDGE, and UMTS/HSDPA knowledge.

•Familiar with NSN new technology, LTE, Multiradio, RU20, RG20 will be advantage

•Able & Familiar with Dimensioning planning tools, Link budget and Planning tools,  Traffic Planning, BSS Dimensioning, BSS Database and Network Feature

•Proficient in the use of variety of  planning tool for performance monitoring, analysis and optimization, Netact, measurement tools (TEMS, NEMO), spectrum analyzer  and MAP INFO

•Have Excel, Access, programming, RF environment trouble shooting

•Have good communication skills, good English is a must, written and verbally.

•Must be proficient in Windows based office technologies (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

•Have a strong leadership, Excellent interpersonal, be able to  work under pressure

•Familiar with Project Management Knowhow is advantage. Job Indonesia
